grabbing all the important documents you will ever need for the rest of your life, including bank statements, insurance information, photos of your entire house inventoried on CD or better yet uploaded onto a cloud, marriage certificates or, in my case, divorce decrees, all of which you have, properly filed in a carry-along file that sits right by the door
gone to the grocery store to buy a supply of water bottles and enough food to last two weeks, plus a manual can opener for those cans of tuna and spam, plus medications,
gathered the pets with all their proper vaccinations and collars, even for cats
loaded up on cash from the ATM (yeah, right!) and, oh, yes, don't forget the kids...
think about taking a break when this Irene chick has settled down, to do a little paddleboarding - on Tybee Island, of course! Here's a discount coupon for you, courtesy of Groupon...
